Ed Schovanec - President
Ed Schovanec began with Johnston Seed Company in 1985 when he was hired as a regional salesman. Ed began specializing in the harvesting, processing, and sales of native grasses and wildflowers. Ed is now Vice President of purchasing and marketing these specialty products throughout the United States. Ed received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Phillips University in Enid. Ed is from Waukomis area where he grew up on the family farm and continues to farm today.
John Lamle - Vice President of Research and Production
John Lamle has been with Johnston Seed Company since 1992. John began as an agronomist and later became Vice President of the seed production and the research program. John is responsible for the seed company's extensive grass and wildflower seed production efforts, the bermudagrass and switchgrass development program, and the Semrad processing facility located at the research farm. John received a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and a Master of Science in Plant Genetics from Oklahoma State University. John is a native of Okeene, Oklahoma.
Glenn Richards - Vice President
Glenn Richards has been with Johnston Seed Company since 1976. Glenn received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Oklahoma State University. Glenn specializes in native grasses, government cost shares, contract of small grains and peas, and seed processing. Glenn is from Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Kris Couchman - Director of Sales and Transportation
Kris Couchman began with Johnston Seed Company in 1998. Kris has assumed the duties of directing the company's freight shipments and day-to-day computer operations. Kris also manages the Sweetlix Product and inoculant accounts. Kris has been the director for internet sales since it was initiated 10 years ago. Kris received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Kris is a native of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, a small town north of Enid.
Brady Schultz - Sales Representative - Turfgrass
Brady Schultz recently joined the Johnston's family in January of 2011 as a sales representative for their growing turf division and related fields. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture with an option in Turf Management. After graduation, he worked in Enid as a golf course superintendent at Meadowlake Golf Course. Brady was raised in Pond Creek, Oklahoma where most of his family still resides.
Bonnie Dow - Director of Accounting/Inventory Control
Bonnie Dow began with Johnston Seed Company in 1980. Bonnie is the Office Manager and directs the Company's accounting and inventory control activities. With over 30 years experience in the accounting, Bonnie is an integral part of the operations of the company. Bonnie received a Business Degree from Northern Oklahoma College in Enid. Bonnie is from Garber, Oklahoma and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.

Lynn Rose - Southwest Oklahoma/North Texas Sales Manager
Lynn Rose came to Johnston Seed Company in 2000 from Hobart Seed Company. Lynn has over 20 years experience in agriculture and lawn/garden products. Lynn received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Economics from Oklahoma State University. Lynn's primary sales area is southwestern Oklahoma and northern Texas. Lynn works in sales of all seeds and the livestock mineral/supplements. He resides in Hobart, OK area.
Roger Goodwin - Northern Oklahoma/Southern Kansas Sales Manager
Roger Goodwin has been with Johnston Seed Company since 2007. Roger has over 28 years experience in the agriculture retailing business. He has worked extensively in the retailing of seeds, feeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and lawn/garden products. Roger's primary area of responsibility is the northern part of Oklahoma and southern Kansas. Roger lives in the Cherokee, Oklahoma area.
Robert (Bob) Wiebelt - Southeastern Oklahoma Sales and Crescent Plant Manager
Bob Wiebelt began with Johnston Seed Company in 1995 at the Crescent, Oklahoma facility. Bob received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University. In addition to servicing the southeastern Oklahoma sales territory, Bob manages the Crescent seed processing facility where rye, cowpeas, and mungbeans are received and processed on a seasonal basis. Bob began and continues to be the director of the Trophy Magnet© Product line of wildlife seeds and mixes.
