Riviera for Lawns
Although Riviera has been used and receives the most attention from its performance in professional applications such as golfcourse fairways and tees, soccer, football, baseball, polo, etc. it has also been used extensively in residential and commercial lawn applications. The superior turf quality, early spring greenup, excellent winter hardiness, excellent wear tolerance, and high disease resistance traits of Riviera are also considered very important under lawn maintenance conditions. Riviera can be maintained at lower levels of management and still provide a quality lawn.
It is generally recommended that when Riviera is placed under intensive management, a reel-type mower should be used for best quality cut. However, Riviera can be mowed very satisfactorily with a rotary mower for lawn applications. Riviera looks and performs best when mowed at 1.5 inches or less.
